MyVoice researchers recently published a paper titled, “Perspectives of adolescents and young adults on cannabis use during pregnancy“ in the journal, Addictive Behaviors. The authors conducted the national text-based survey, with 666 young people between the ages of 14 and 24 responding to various questions concerning cannabis use and its implications in the health of the pregnant individual and the unborn child; what its potential effects are on parenting; and whether they feel medical counseling is necessary on its safe use .
Authors include Christopher Whitlock, Claire Chang and Regina Onischchenko, all of the University of Michigan Medical School; Madgean Joassaint and Emily Madlambayan of the University of Michigan; Associate Professor Lauren Oshman, MD, MPH, FAAFP, and Assistant Professor Christopher J. Frank, MD, Ph.D., both of the Department of Family Medicine and the Institute for Health Policy and Innovation at U-M.
