Intro: This week is about SNAP (also known as Food Stamps or EBT) which is a government program that gives families money to buy food. Whether you’ve used SNAP or not, we want to hear your thoughts about the program.

In 2026, people using SNAP in some states will no longer be able to buy sugary drinks (like soda) and candy with SNAP dollars. Do you agree or disagree with this change? Why?
A new law requires adults without kids and parents of teens to work 20+ hours a week or they could lose their SNAP dollars. What do you think about this new law?
Currently, SNAP dollars can increase when food prices go up. The new law will also limit how much SNAP dollars can increase in the future. What do you think about this?
Many families, including those using SNAP, have trouble buying healthy foods. What should the government do to make healthy foods easier to access?
